About
Neon Radish Entertainment has been operating out of Mangwon since 2019, named after a vegetable stall sign with half its neon letters dead — a root vegetable pretending to be a nightclub.
Ji-woo Baek started it after four years inside the trainee system, watching it discard people for the specific crime of having a personality. The premise has not changed since: sign the artists who are already formed, already online, and already too much for anyone who wanted them smaller. Move fast. Do not develop anybody — they arrived developed.
The deal is the deal. Artists keep final cut on their lyrics. The label takes most of the rest. Nobody here pretends this is generous, and at least one artist on the roster has made a career-defining record about it, naming the company, repeatedly, with permission.
The look is convenience-store neon, glitch, scanline, bubble type, everything legible at thumbnail size on a phone, because that is where it will be seen.
Catalogue numbers run NRE-### from 2019 and there are gaps in the sequence that nobody here
will explain.
